What’s the most important meal of the day? BREAKFAST (according to our grandparents at least)! Whether this is true or not, breakfast hits any time of the day. This is especially true when you’ve found a little gem of a place that specializes in the art of breakfast food.
For anyone traveling through North Carolina – more specifically Greensboro – you should make sure to stop at Scrambled Diner. It’s open seven days a week, usually from 7AM to 3PM. This place is one of my favorites here in the Boro.
Located on Spring Garden Street, this cozy little diner is the place you go when you want some fluffy waffles, freshly squeezed OJ (or freshly poured mimosa), and some scrambled eggs. Their menu has an array of options for even the pickiest eater and their service is always kind and friendly. I always get some of the corned beef hash if it’s available because I have never tasted anything so heavenly. Now I understand why it’s called heavenly hash. *cue light bulb*
When you do stop in, be sure to snap a photo of your meal and send it my way. I haven’t tried everything on the menu but I’m working on it. Let me know what you think of the place! Happy hump day, foodie friends!
xoxo, Caitlin
